About us
Lofoten tindeklubb operates the climbing wall in King Øystein's Hall in Kabelvåg. The wall was completed in 2009, which led to a revitalization of the club, which had been founded long before this. The club's main activity revolves around the climbing wall, but since we are located in the middle of the climbing paradise of Lofoten, we also have some outdoor activities in the form of courses and gatherings. During the autumn and winter months, we organize various meetings, lectures, and movie nights. As a member of the Lofoten Mountaineering Club, you get cheaper climbing and access to all of the club’s activities. If you contribute to the duty roster, you will have the opportunity to open the hall outside of regular opening hours. And most importantly, you'll get in touch with other climbers in the area and likely make many new friends! Membership in the club costs NOK 100 per year or NOK 250 for a family.
